Default rebuild a G9 285CC YAMAHA

My Problem Is I Have A 285cc Yamaha And Rebuilding The Engine Was Apart When I Got It And I Am Trying To Figure Out The Timing, Crank Has A Dot On Small Gear And Then On The Big Gear On Crank 2 Teeth Has 86 Stamped, The Cam Does Not Have A Dot Or Mark Any Where Only A 1/4 Hole Through Gear And The Balancer Has A Dot On Gear Can Anyone Tell Me Where To Start With Cam And Balancer

the big gear on the crank has a mark you line it up with the hole in the cam the balancer gear has a mark line it up with your other gear on the crank your piston will be at top dead center your balance shaft mark will be at around the 7 o'clock position your cam will be around 3:30 i just did a g8 hope this helps
