Default 85 Yamaha g1 floods

just got this 85 g1 cart somebody put a inline fuel pump on it just rebuilt new crank seals new carb still floods out cant figure it out any ideas

If it's an electric pump, scrap it! They almost always put out too much fuel pressure.

I have a better fix for you, pretty cheap too. Go to your local lawn mower dealer and ask for a "1/4" pulse operated fuel pump for 9-15 hp engine". They'll bring you something like this...

There will be three lines, one goes to the pulse line on the cart engine, one goes to the fuel tank, one goes to the carb. You might have to switch them around a few times to get it right, but it works great, identical to the original.
