Angry in tank fuel filter leaking

I took my fuel filter out of the tank and took all the paper off . Put it back together and can`t get it too stop leaking. Do yall think I can get a gasket/ o-ring for it at Napa or do I need to order a new filter ?

I feel for you. Seems that happens quite often in my world. Glad Yamaha decided to change that on the newer models. Make sure the cap didn't crackm but it;s probably the gasket.

Just to avoid any more work, we we change one, we'll add some teflon tape to the tank threads to assist in getting that cap / filter back on nice and snug.
