Default Cleaning up electrical wires

What are you guys using to avoid having a bunch of eyelets piled up on your battery terminals for all your accessories? I have a dedicated 12v battery for my accessories and they are all piled up: lights, blinker, horn, radio, discombobulator, radar jammer, etc...

One more question... Is there any particular type of fuse I should have in line with my radio? Just any 12v fuse will work?

Thanks

Install a terminal block. Any fuse that is the correct size and amps.

I figured out the amps part of the fuse.

For the terminal block I can link all of one side together and have one wire go to the positive battery side?

Yep! they even come with the one side already linked by a tab and also available with fuses or breakers.
Auto parts store or Radio Shack

Got terminal block from local auto parts store. fused with 30 amp. four terminals. Suggest you fuse each electrical goodie and lights with lower amp (7.5/10/15) fuses. Mounted on inside of battery well where it's handy to get at.

I mounted a strip powered by a fog light relay, that way I am not pulling a lot of amps through the key switch.

Thats a good idea, I like having a master switch that way you don't forget something as easily and wind up with dead batteries.

Ok, so explain this to the electrically dim... You have a separate switch that powers the fog light relay you can flip on or off so nothing goes through the key switch??

I have a #12 from battery + to a single fuse(tab broke off) that fuse then goes to the supply on the relay and a#12 from the switched side of the relay to the fuse strip to feed the other slots. The relay is activated by the ignition switch. I even ran my headlights off this, turn the key off every thing is off. the only thing on the key is ignition and the relay coil. I added a post for grounds by using a longer bolt to mount the fuse strip.
