Default Body Work -Permanent remove of rubber

Wondering if anyone has ground off the lip that holds the rubber on? I have no interest in trying to put it all back on. Has anyone done this, any pictures?

I personally haven't heard of anyone doing this but what I'm doing with my cart is leaving the lip and just put my mud gaurds back on. I'm gonna run them front and rear. That rubber is a PITA to put back on.
