Default 89 PG3 What should compression be

I have a 1989 EZGO. that will not start!
I believe it is a PG3 engine?

Compression tested to 120 psi.
Ran leak down test and was seeing gas coming out of the crank seal.
Reed valves look good.
I have already went through the carb.

Am I on the right track?????

Is a 120 psi compression enough for these type motors?

Can anyone help a new guy out???

Thanks,

Pete

Compression is low. Should be 140 or more.

Doesn't really matter - 120 is low (not terrible - but low). Do you have a "warm" reading?
