Default No forward or reverse

I have a 2L gas par car and after a run last week it hasn't lit up since. Ran fine, parked it, and all I can hear now is the solenoid reacting to my push of the pedal. Thinking the motor is bad but was looking for suggestions on anything to check.

Thanks in advance.

Nah, your motor isn't bad. Your issue is that your starter / generator isn't turning with the click of the solenoid. Attached is a circuit testing procedure for your cart. It has bench testing instructions for your starter as well.

As your solenoid is clicking means that you are getting 12v to the small terminals on it. With the key on the and the accelerator pedal depressed (which should be causing the solenoid to click) see of you are getting 12v at the large terminals on the solenoid. If not then your solenoid is bad.

If there is 12v going through the large solenoid terminals as mentioned then test your starter via the attached instructions. This can be done without taking the starter out of the cart.

Thanks Lochlin.

I should have been more specific with my words, I meant the starter/generator.

Thanks for the instructions, I'll get to testing it sometime soon and see where I end up.
