Default Upgraded controller Precedent motor vs RXV motor torque

I am wondering if anyone can tell me if I upgrade the controller can I get as much torque from a stock precedent motor as the RXV has?

Someone in a hilly upscale subdivision wants his precedent to go up hills as fast as the RXV which really handles hills well. RXV's are very popular in his subdivision for that reason.

If the motor and controller both have to be upgraded to match RXV, he probably will just buy an RXV.

If you are comparing "electric" models I would say heck yes! Get and XCT controller for that sepex cart and turn it up. Its going to give you much more than a factory controller on most any stock manufacturers....

And scottyb would be a good resource to talk to on this as he has EZGO's and CC's with the XCT controllers and can tell you the exact difference I would bet.

I will check with Scotty. I have added a 400 amp controller to a 36 volt txt and converted to 48 volts and it still does not match the stock RXV. Of course that was a series cart, so the CC Sepex might do better

I have a XCT 400 with stock motor, in my precedent, and on hills I cannot keep up with a stock RXV. On flat ground I can run away, but when going up a hill and the RXV will always catch up and pass me. Its hard to match the torque of the AC motors in the RXV.
