2006 Club Car DS solenoid not clicking
Hi all, been around on the forums for a bit but this is my first attempt at a DIY fix. Bought a 2006 Club Car ds that was missing a starter/generator. Installed one ( I think correctly), but the cart still wouldn't run. I noticed that when pressed the pedal and cart was turned on that the solenoid did not click. However, when I disconnected the solenoid and jumped it using the battery, I was able to hear the click, which made me think the problem was in the activation circuit.
I have checked the switches for continuity as described in the service / repair manual as well as checking the fuse for continuity (all checked with a multimeter at 200 ohms). Each of these items are fine. I think I there might be a problem in the fuse box itself but was wondering if you all had any others ideas. I am new to this, so I might have missed something obvious as well as not checked the individual components (fuse, switches, etc). Thanks in advance! |
