For Yamaha carts, I recommend Plowman's. Don Plowman has been building machines his whole life, and he has the golf cart thing down. His parts are tried and true, he uses them on his own carts he builds.

I don't like the "power springs" for the secondary clutch, unless it's a Plowman's version and you use his whole setup. Just adding a power spring isn't really a good mod without addressing the engine power situation. His kits are bolt in, and he will walk you through the install over the phone if needed. Great guy to deal with.

Are you recommending primary and secondary from Plowman?

This was the post I was responding to, Plowman's is the place to get clutches for Yamaha carts IMO. Especially if you want better performance. But September is a long time to wait. Not sure if you even "NEED" clutches though. I'd like to see a video of both the primary and secondary clutches in action.

Primary beginning to close and the brake being released from a stop.

Little Cruise around and Reverse with Clutch View.

I wasn’t able to duplicate the issue I’ve been having. Usually this happens on a cold start 1-3 seconds after the cart starts moving and something seems to slip or maybe the breaks come free. I have no idea, I’ll keep trying to catch the act on video.

What year is your cart? I’m under the impression some of these clutches are different depending on your cart setup. That may only apply to the secondary, can anyone confirm?

Alright here it is, just before the motor revs up you can hear a thud. Nothing looks unusual to me on the video.
