Have to push electric cart to get it to go again
Im trying to help my fixed income 93 year old neighbor out. 2004 columbia par car eagle electric cart. Has new charged batteries full of water. Whats happening is it seems to stop after a 3 point turn or stop sign and pushing the cart a couple feet gets it going again.
My first thought is solenoid. His money is tight and last thing i want to do is cost the guy wasted money trying to help out. The cart seems to drive as soon as you hit accelerator but i did not hear a click of any type when depressing pedal it just goes fine until it doesnt and when it stops; give it a push for a foot or two and it goes fine vin number - p4le4-4ze-1037 2004 year thanks in advance |

Re: Have to push electric cart to get it to go again
The motor brushes may be stopping on a bad spot(s) on the armature. Pushing the cart rotates the armature to a different spot.
I would have the motor armature turned and install new brushes. |
