Most accurate/true volt reading
I need some clarification on which "time" of volt reading to be most accurate.
EX .... run about 5 miles in hill and immediately check volts at 49.7 ..... couple minutes later at 49.9 ...... 20 minutes later at 50.4. Which is the TRUE reading as pertaining to the SOC of batteries? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk |

Re: Most accurate/true volt reading
True reading should be taken 12-24 hours after use or charge cycle completion

Re: Most accurate/true volt reading
20 minutes later or longer at 50.4. is the TRUE reading, as pertaining to the SOC of batteries. At rest voltage

Re: Most accurate/true volt reading
Wait until the voltage stops changing. That's your only truly accurate reading.

If you have a meter that can monitor the voltage under load, stay above 42V while driving (well above if possible). These tables have been gleaned from other members. The first one is generic while the second one is specifically for US Battery. |

Re: Most accurate/true volt reading
THAT is the part I had questions about. I had already been informed to stay about 50%, but originally thought that to be while actively being used. That was before I learned of 'at rest' reading. If I understand you correctly, basically 42V while being used is about equal to 48.4V at rest.

Re: Most accurate/true volt reading
Been my intentions to stay above the 48V regardless, but good to know all the info.
