Battery Cables Size....UK
Hi. Can anyone tell me the size in mm of the black cables linking the batteries on a 2006/8 Precedent Club Car? (9mm?)
I'm working on around 48 carts and on cleaning the crap off the terminals, a couple of lugs have broken off with corrosion. I haven't got a supplier near me so it's ebay for me for a crimper and lugs. Thanks. Billy |

Re: Battery Cables Size....UK
I looked up a metric chart on line and after getting decimal for 6 guage which equals= .37 inches and ( IF ) I am correct metric would be 9.5000 mm decimal?
Sorry the USA thankfully didnt switch to metric so to a 77 year old its all greek?? This is considered minimum size and most go to larger cable size 4 to 2 guage. WE find that welding cable being multi sranded is more flexable and has better insulation to stand up to being drug around floors etc. |
