Difference between axle & spindle lift?

I get that one just swaps spindles and other swaps the axle, but I'm curious as to which one I should get?

I've got a 2003 EZGO txt, and I know I want to go with 6".

Also, besides upping the battery cables to 4g wires, any other "must do" modifications in order to do the lift? Obviously I know I've got to do bigger wheels.

Spindles are at the front/ The axle is in the back. You would need both the new drop spindles and riser blocks in the back to lift the cart evenly.

I just did a Jakes front and rear kit on my sister's newer (not sure of the year) EZGO and it was spindles in front. You can do either on the EZGO?

Ohhh

I was under the impression that the kits came with blocks for the rear & basically you either swapped the front axel or the spindles.

Man I'm a newb

Learned something new today! You can lift an EZGO with spindles or axle!

Talking to my sister, she went with Jake's spindles because she wanted front disc brakes plus they quoted her a little better price. They were easy to install and probably half the work of an axle install anyway. Operationally and durability wise, I have no idea.

If you want 6" you have to go with the spindle lift... axle lift are just 5" i had both and there's no big dofference.....
