Default i need help on a decision to go wild or stay mild!?

Ok yall ive gotten into this ez go txt and im finding that frame metal is.pretty deeply rusted. Not a big deal at all beings i only gave 250 bucks for it. However im needing some direction. Should i just buy some batteries and use it as is and not dump bunch of money in it. Its mostly just the angle iron around the where the batteries set. I believe i could beef up the.structure and it would be fine.
Also the components (dont know all my lingo yet) seem to be in place and in good shape. The motor i dont know . Should i buy some batteries first . Hook them up and the.go from there. ? Just not sure what to do first. For now im just taking it down and cleaning it and checking everything out. Help lmao

I take it the heart transplant was a success and the patient is doing well?

I don't see any unusual amount of rust?

As for the rust slap some POR on it and your good to go. As for components, batteries, etc. it's a lot of fun to beef these thing up but expensive. It is amazing how much power you can get out of these carts. I don't think you said what year the cart was and whether it is series, PDS, etc ???

That looks just like my old cart but in better shape. Put batteries in it and run. You would be surprised what that cart can pull. You might want to do a little maintenance on the battery tray before you install batteries.

Well from what i gather its a series. Im not 100 percent sure i understand how to tell even with the link to the page that tells you how lmao. Also the **** serial number plate is missing off the inside glove box. But according to the ezgo site its apox 1996 or newer. Its an ez txt . But i wonder if i should just buy batteries and lace them up and ride it or buy new direction selector and speed controller and then batteries . I would love it if it would just go lol

Appears to be a series based on the F/R switch in front of the controller.
Also appears to have an entire Club Car rear end in it including the motor.

edit: Never mind. That was established in your other thread.
