Another Battery question
I'm going to upgrade my batteries this spring\summer. I'll probably be going with Trojan 6-V top of the line's as I am disabled and use my cart for hunting. I'm not fond of running out of juice!!
However, the 2 x-tra batteries will probably end up in the bag well area. So...my question about that....is this: Does someone sell a 2 battery "holder" with a solid bottom, perhaps with a drain hole that I would\could just drill a hole thru the bottom of my bag well area and run a tube in case of a battery water "tsunami". Plus, a 2 battery holder would be a good thing to hold the batteries in one place. Thoughts? Thanks. Dave |

Re: Another Battery question
Can't help you on who sells battery boxes for the bagwell, but be aware that the T-145 is 3/4" taller than the T-105 and T-125.
Running at 48V with 260AH batteries ought to give you a fairly decent run-time. I'm sticking with 36V, but kicking around the idea of going to T-125 or T-145 (or equivalent) because my favorite shooting range is on the ragged edge of the round-trip distance I think I'll get out of standard batteries. |
