Default 06 precedent “quits” when driving, regen not working

Hey y’all
2006 precedent.
When driving, it will have full power and the just quit like the power was entirely shut off. If you let off the accelerator pedal and hit it again, you might make it two feet or maybe 100 yards. Then it does it again.
Also noticed the regen braking is not working.
What direction should I head in with testing this?
Any help is appreciated!

Odds are you need a new MCOR.

What’s the testing procedure? I thought I remembered reading about using a paperclip to jump the harness?

Watch this video on how to get to the mcor...There are 2 connectors on it...A 3 pin and a 2 pin...Disconnect the 2 pin connector and insert a wire or paper clip in the harness side connector...Tape it up and try it...Also could be a speed sensor issue if the regen isn't working..
