Default Speedy link for speeding up a club car precedent

Has anyone heard of these for speeding up a 2007 club car, do they work?

I have been told by a local dealer that carries them that they will speed a stock cart up from around 12/13 MPH to 20 MPH. If you have a lift you're prob already getting 16-18 MPH and then it would bump you up to 20 MPH.

He made a good point that it just plugs in and is removeable so if you ever want to slow your cart down (to let a kid ride or something) you can just unplug it rather than having a speed code which is permanent.

Don't have any personal experience with one however.

I talked to Randy the other day. I am getting 16 now and he said I could realistically get 22-23mph if I add the SpeedyLink.

I just took mine off after a month of use on my 08 Precedent. While it increased my speed from 16.5 to 20, it wore down my 2 year old batteries so much several times I limped home after a round of golf. The battery light would come on after 6 holes.
