Default Which cart to build

I have been weighing a few options lately on building a drag racing cart, Ill list the options.

1. Continue making my 84 3 wheel ezgo faster, it has gone 29 mph on 60 volts.
There are no high speed gears available so the only way to go faster is more voltage. This cart is extremely heavy as well.

2. Build a G22 I have that will be 72 volt converted to series with a custom D&D motor, many gear options are available. It should be lighter than the EZ-GO.

3. I also have a G29 Drive sitting around with no motor. It would also get 72 volts to start with. Only 8:1 gears are available and it is the lightest of the three carts.

Just want as many opinions as i can get before I make a choice.

Go with the lightest and going that fast on 3 wheels is IMO a disaster just waiting to happen.

Good luck.

Thanks seems like there isn't much activity in this section anymore.Haven't seen anyone build a drive up yet so I'm leaning that direction.

Personally I'd love to see the G29 hauling butt!

That right there should make you want to stop and think if it's going to be worth the time and money to build a "drag cart".

Here's a good thread to read just in case you missed it.

Thanks for the advice the drag cart build is more just for me than anything. I built a truck for drag racing and did that for a while but decided to go a different direction with it. Figured the cart would be a good way to get back in it, and most people around here dont know what the electric carts are capable of.
