Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
Yes but If that is the case You will hear the Solenoid "click" as you turn the Key Switch ON/OFF and the reverse buzzer should have worked as normal.

Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
Well it only jumps, it doesn't keep going forward. Kinda like when you put an old car into drive with low trans fluid

And no, the pedal doesn't do anything. Forward or reverse

Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
Make sure You installed the pedal micro-switch properly.
There should be 3-terminals on that switch and You need to use the COM and NC terminals. |

Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
Yes, no matter which way I connect the wires it does the same thing. There's 2 wire connections, and the arm that gets tripped when shifting from forward to reverse

Lift one rear wheel and put the cart in Forward.
Do you hear or feel the solenoid click as you turn the Key Switch On/Off? |

Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
So another question would be did you just get the cart and it’s always done this or is this a new problem? If the wiring is right it should be pretty easy to diagnose, I have basically the same cart and while I am dying to upgrade to solid state I sure like how simple these are.

Yes, the with the cart in forward or reverse, the solenoid clicks and the cart tries to move when I turn the key on

Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
I bought the cart from someone else.. They said the cart had a seized electric motor, but it moves so I figured that to be untrue

Re: 2000 club car moves without hitting pedal
You need a 3 tab microswitch in the Vglide and you need to use the COM and NC tabs.
