Sounds like a good deal to me, although I didn't see them in person. Sometimes it's hard to walk away from a good price, so good for you for sticking to your guns.

Sounds like a fun job. I'm a retired aerospace engineer, was with the Department of Defense. I opened an EV/NEV design and fabrication company over a decade ago. Closed it last year and retired again. I like messing around with RXV carts now. They are amongst the latest AC drive designs from E-Z-GO. Do a lot of custom programming on RXV controllers. TN is a good area to find rebuildable carts for little money.

I can get deals on fresh off-lease RXVs, but I bet even that would be too much. I won't buy them for that. I would rather buy a salvage RXV for a few hundred $ and build it like I want it.

I want one. Great starter cart! 250
48v lithium packs 600
Onboard charger 350 (super nice one)
SR48500 controller 580 (with solenoid and shipping)
Pick your motor based on use! ~600 (heavy duty)

I have a guy locally that puts them together for me. Some of the Chevy Volt packs can start around 300 ea

Ebay Chevy volt battery or 12s battery.
