Help ! please identify my cart, see pics..
this is my cart, I have no idea what brand it is or what year. It is 36 volt, the motor attached directly to the rear differential, speed control is solenoids and resistor coils..... has coil springs and shocks at both ends.... rear flat deck is an add on by last owner.... i think.
poking around this and another site I think it is a Nordco (or Nordskog) Marketeer. any idea what model number or year it was made?? under the drivers left knee is a forward / reverse switch and a key switch, no lights. it looks like the canopy was removed. |

Not for sure, but it looks more like an industrial unit. My first guess would be a Taylor Dunn. The "w" on the brake pedal brings back memories of Westinghouse?

Oh yeh it is a westinghouse...Originally made in LA and later mass produced in Redlands, Ca. Like Mike said the W on the brake pedal, the rail on the side and the distinct F&R control on the side with key outside.....diamond plating....the one in this pick is an early '50s model.....you should have an id plate on the kickplate between the seats....down by your heels when you sit in it!

thanks for the info, that pic you posted is the only other one I have seen with the diamond plate on it. does anybody know what years they had the diamond plate on the 4 wheel model.
I looked high and low, no data plate on mine. The Nordco hubcaps are my only hint.... and they could be from another model. |

Yes, SottyB is 100% correct. Its a Westinghouse. I had almost the same cart and 4 wheel too. Yours seems to be more of a mid-late 60's. Just wanted to give you a backup conf.on make,,and yes thats what it is. Very cool carts though. You should see one painted up like an old truck..They have really cool body lines. You can actually put real style headlights in it like a car..some cutting,,but it will look great!

Incline,,ya right here. when you said that I almost went back to look at the cart to see if it was my old one.. its not.. I sold it to a lady that had a handicap, it was cool because they are so short from the seat to the pedals and steering wheel. She could push the gas and brakes with only her hand, the cart was that small.. Ya, you do not see many of them, you will love it. They are TUFF carts and turn heads..have fun.
