Default Broke another...

Spark Plug boot and this time i bent the tip of the plug! I'm not a fat guy, i'm actually kinda skinny, my buddy that rides with me is a little thicker, but nothing bad. Is there something wrong with my seat or the cart... or should i just make my buddy ride in a different cart?

another one broke???

I'm thinking it would take a lot of weight to get the spark plug on your KF82 to poke into the bottom of the seat!
First thing you should check is the snubber, a missing or worn snubber may cause that!
or... it's time to invest in leaf spring helpers!

Snubber = a gray or orange semi circular piece of rubber mounted on the front of the engine pan.

Yeah... I think you should get a new snubber, the older they are, the spongier they get,
they're under $20.00, it's either that, or you can keep a stock of plugs and plug boots on hand!

That is indeed your snubber.

When you are driving and the front and rear suspensions are doing their job the engine tray will move up and down as a result of the suspension action. The snubber allows the tray to move upward a certain amount before stopping it and not allowing it to move anymore. Since the snubber is made of flexible rubber it will gently stop the upward motion without a hard thump or clunk and the rubber will also also absorb vibrations as well.

If you look in the picture of your snubber you can see that it is cracked. Those cracks may be allowing the snubber to flatten out too much and in turn the engine tray could be rising too much and resulting in broken plug boots.

Very good explanation Joe!

Cmoney: I'm not sure if your Yammi dealer that you got your plug boot from will have them, but, there's no harm in asking!
however, any cart shop that works on Club Cars should have them in stock!

Well no luck here locally, they got them on some sites i've found. You think I could get away with just "stabilizing" that with a wood spacer or something so it doesn't move up so much?
