Wrap Durability
I've searched and read all posts on wraps. I don't recall seeing much on people reporting the scratch resistance and overall durability of their wrapped carts. Please check in, especially if you have 3m #1080.
Thanks |

Re: Wrap Durability
I think overall good wraps are pretty durable. If it's for an off road cart I'd say prob not the best idea, sticks, branches, briars all scratch.

Re: Wrap Durability
Mine has been on for over 5 years now and is used primarily in the woods and I'm not cautious about where it goes.
Very pleased with how well it has held up. It's is 3m with the uv laminate. |

Good information. I'd like to try a wrap soon.

Re: Wrap Durability
Just had a 3m wrap put on a cart. Have not had it long so can’t really say how durable it is. I do know you need to take care of all the body work before installing one. Had one or two scratches that I did not fix and they showed up. After putting everything back on you can’t tell and it looks good.

Re: Wrap Durability
Also,
If your cart is a darker color and you use a realtree or other camo type wrap with a lot of details, that pattern is pretty busy so even if you did scratch or tear it, it wouldn't show up as much. I've seen things wrapped with that, and it's pretty forgiving. If I was going to wrap something for the first time, that would definitely be my "practice" pattern. From more than a couple feet away, you really can't see any of the seams or overlaps because there's so much going on. IF you know where to look, yeah you can see it. but it doesn't stand out like other patterns or wraps would with graphics and stuff. |
