Default The Delta Q charger on my Western Golf car is not lighting up.

Hi, guys! I am Frank from Santo Domingo. I have a Western golf car equipped with a Delta Q charger model 4218. When I got the car two weeks ego the charger did charge the 5x8Volts batteries up to 41.8 Volts. But when tried to charge again after the batteries discharge, the charger does not lite up, is dead.
Will anyone please help me? Is it any internal fuse in the charger?
I have an aditional 8 V battery, can I install the aditional battery ? The charger is rated "only for 42 V systems). But the aditional battery will raise the operating voltage to 48V.
Thank you in advance!

Something isn't adding up. 5---8 volt batteries is only 40 volts. If you cart is 42 volts then whoever put batteries in cart did not do it correctly. Not sure how charger was working prior? You cannot put the 6th 8 volt battery in there unless you get a 48 volt charger. Your 42 volt charger won't work. You cart if it is 42 volts should have 7---6 volt batteries in it. Charger charging to 41.8 volts is not working properly either so something has been wrong even 2 weeks ago. Need to straighten out the battery issue first as that will most likely solve your charger issue as well.
