1992 electric no foward or reverse

can someone explain to me ? what happens
turn on key,put in gear,press on accel.
solenoid clicks, what does the 2 micro switches do at f&r controller do?
does elect go from micro switches to solenoid to accelerator switch to control module to motor?
here is our problem at times in foward the drive motor will turn over very slow for about 3-4 seconds and then nothing, bats are fully charged and in good condition,put new solenoid in,cleaned all terminals,checked all wires
we are lost at this point

i was told its a controller cart, i do not see any resistors

Sounds like a controller problem.
Can you get some id from the controller ?
Make? Model?

cart is 17 yrs old can not see any numbers or marking on controller

Thank you for doing the math .... what you describe is probably a bad controller. ......good luck with your cart.
