2 solenoids for a foward and reverse
I have a yamaha G8 and i want to use 2 solenoids for the forward and reverse switch i was looking for some help wiring it up or if there is a wiring diagram out there that will work
I have looked for something that will work but I have not found it yet. |

2 normal solenoids wont work like you are wanting to. You either need a reversing contactor or 2 six terminal white rodgers solenoids.

That is what i have 2 of the white rogers 6 terminals i am just looking for some help getting it wired right

If you could find a Taylor-Dunn wireing diagram it might shed some lite. They used a Curtis controller with a main solenoid and 2 6 pole solenoids for forward and reverse. Sorry I don't have one anymore. Your G8 controller is alittle differant then a Curtis. But it's a thought. Good luck
