Like I said, the controller does not switch from torque to speed. It's done via the extra switch by changing the field coil arrangment inside the motor. You mis-understood the post.

I had the seats redone... I like the way they came out!!!
Replacing the stock wire with 4 ga really made a noticable difference |

I have never seen a 36 or 48 volt solenoid at NAPA Auto Parts ! Controllers are very voltage selective. Experiment with voltages to see if your controller 'likes' them? You will fry the controller faster than you can say 'stuff' !
