Default Club car lost power on impact to differential

I just replaced the batteries in my mid nineties 36V and it was working fine. Daughter backed into concrete parking block at full speed and hit the rear differential that is connected to the motor and rear axle. Suddenly almost no power in forward and wont go in reverse. On jacks reverse will work a little. Gas pedal now has a little click when it is pressed and sometimes sticks a little. Batteries were fully charged but when i put it on the charger after messing with it they were discharged to about 25 on my charger. Within about 5 minutes it was less than 5 and fully charged within 30 minutes. Any ideas on what the problem might be and how to troubleshoot and fix it? No visible damage- only a scar on the metal.

Remove all the cables from the motor looking for a loose or bad motor post. If you do not find any then hook a cable from S1 to A2 on the motor then take a 12V battery charger and connect the clips to A1 and S2 (polarity not important). The wheels should rotate smoothly, do not worry about direction at this point.

Hope your daughter is alright. I've never liked that carts can run full speed in reverse. They really aren't designed for it. Most people in general, not just the younger ones aren't good at driving backwards anyway.
