Talking 1987 Club Car DS Fuel Pump Problem

I tested my fuel pump yesterday after replacing all the fuel lines and thought it was OK. It turns out it isn't. Having all of the fuel lines connected except the one that goes to the carburetor, it "squirted" out quite freely. I thought that I had a good pump. But when hooking up the output line to the fuel pump (but not connecting it to the carburetor) it only drips out gas? I cannot figure out why it will not "push" the gas through the line? The line is only about 10 inches long? There is no fuel filter on that line. I only have a fuel filter on the line from the tank to the pump.

Does anyone have any ideas? Why will it pump fuel out freely from the discharge port on the fuel pump but not push the same fuel through another 10 inches of hose? Is my pump bad? If so, does anyone recommend the cheapest place to get one online? (The only CC dealer near me is in Cleveland, OH which is quite a distance for me). Could I not have enough vacuum from the crankcase? How would I check this?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

could be a pinhole in one of the diaframs in pump or it could be just worn out........you can tear it apart and try cleaning it or even buying just the rebuild kit for it.............just take your time and be careful to put it back togather right but 9 out of 10 times either a good cleaning or rebuild will solve the issue...............................
