Well I'm finally getting thing going again on this project and i'm now at the point where i need to get the engine installed and engine mounts fabed up. I guess I'm looking for any feedback from anyone who has done an engine swap as to how I go about positioning th engine properly and measuring for a drive belt?

I need to position the engine so that it fits in the frame and make sure the drive clutch is properly aligned with the driven clutch. Then I assume I will need to make engine mounts that can be adjusted forward and backward to set the idle belt tension. or maybe one pivoting mount in the front and an adjustable length mount in the rear like a turnbuckle? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Got the D722T fired up this past weekend on a test stand. Runs like a raped ape! This G1 is gona do wheelies! It has torque for days. I am gona have to put a 12V starter on it tho. I thought I might be able to get away with keeping the 24V starter on it but it just turns over slower that hell with just 1 12V battery. Had to hook up 2 12V batteries in series to get it to crank fast enough to start.
