Default Club Car "B Models"

To add to the of weird stuff I have brought home, has anybody ever had a Club Car with a "B" prefix in the serial number?

Info in the stickies says "Chassis only electric 48v."

Who would have bought these? Are they for special application building, or factory replacement?

Did they come with motors and controllers?

A "B" by itself? I've never seen that. I've seen plenty of "AB" cars, but never just a "B"

Am I really the only one here who has ever seen one of these?

I'm starting to wonder now if they were just frames and not even a rolling chassis.

IDK. It really doesn't matter, as far as I can tell it's 100% DS.

I am still curious though.

Made by Club Car for a company that makes high end custom stuff. "Royal Rides."

Made for "Elmco." Which went on to become, or is the same as "Royal Ride."

If my research is right, they must have been rolling chassis with motor and controller.
