Your suggestion was where my head was going. What I meant by factory was the right camber / castor or close so you minimize the on and off to adjust the joints. As far as the powder coat all is fine. I just loosely put the upper and lowers on to check clearances and already my shock is hitting - which has everything to do with the current upper and lower hiem settings. So that was my thought if there was a set distance to pull a tape measure off for both the upper and lower and front and rear of say the outer hiem mount (not the joint) then that would satisfy the initial clearance and caster settings. For those that think castor is not adjustable - it sure is…. The inner brim joints can be that far off to allow you to move the upper control are forward or back in relation to the lower control arm and vice versus. I’m not suggesting that’s correct but it’s possible. I’ll just have to play around and get the castor close on the spindles, ensure shock clearance and then as suggested gonna have to get the front wheels on it and weight to do the final alignment adjustments. |
