Charging receptacle fuse
Can the soldered fuse on the charging receptacle of an 05 DS (not the fuse with the yellow cover) be resoldered. I twisted it off the bolt it was soldered to.

Re: Charging receptacle fuse
yes, i was told it's okay but don't solder the entire length of the fuse. Only repair the break. I hope that makes sense.

Re: Charging receptacle fuse
Thanks! I got it soldered and it seems to be charging ok. This has got to be one of the poorest designs ever. If you don't know how that fuse is constructed you are going to break it off the bolt almost everytime taking the charging receptacle out.
