If it can't be repaired, either replace it or go with a K&N setup.

You can the K&N kit here: http://www.cartpartsplus.com/ The vent hose can be ran down the side of the engine and out the back: just get a longer hose, put a fuel filter somewhere in the hose (halfway or so and make sure flow arrown is pointing toward out so air will flow through it), and run it down the side of the engine compartment somewhere and out the back. It may or will leak a little oil now and then so be mindful where you park.

You'll probably need one of these jets when you switch over. More air usually means more gas.

Saw one on Ebay today, seemed reasonable so far. Ebay search...yamaha golf car. Or you could just purchase the parts you need to rebuild. Good luck Dave
