newbie belt question
I have a 1984 club car and I am not surt how to tell what engine it has in it, but when you try to drive up a hill the belt "slips" the clutch turns but the belt does not move. It does good on flat ground but will not go up hill. The belt on it is #1017188. Thanks for the help.

Re: newbie belt question
I'd check with one of the sponsors and see if their belt for your cart matches your belt by part number. If not, I'd go ahead and buy a new one.

Re: newbie belt question
Belt is probaly old. They dont cost much to replace. 20 to 30 bucks. Check out the thread Shorter belts and 28 degree driven clutch. I put a shorter belt on my ez-go and "WOW" what an improvement. It rocks now!!!!
