Rear seat-yes, big ugly foot rest-no
I'm looking at the options for rear seats. My cart is not lifted. I dislike the big foot rest the adds a significant length to the back of the cart. I'd think a non-lifted cart could rely on the rear bumper as a step. However, that may be difficult for older passengers to get into the seat.
Any pics of a rear seat with a minimized or no foot rest. How does it work for you? |

Mine is nine and half inches. Need to consider safety, Getting rear ended or backing into something with people on the back, need to protect their feet and legs.

Good point - the foot rest could be a safety feature as well. I've seen these aluminum rear seat kits. They look pretty small on the foot rest area. Anyone have one of these?

Re: Rear seat-yes, big ugly foot rest-no
I have a rear seat for my G9 and 2 headrests.
I am going to try and fashon them up just like you want them. (i got a few idea's) My cart has a hitch on it and I can't have that ugly footrest either. |

Re: Rear seat-yes, big ugly foot rest-no
I fashioned up a rear seat for my G1 with no footrest and the passengers said using the bumper worked fine. What they complained the most about was I didn't have any hip restraints or arm rests, so they tended to slide off every time I took a corner!
So, hip restraints are on the list of improvements for this year! |

Platform mounts to rear beam (using bumper mount holes) and is about 9" long. You will want something to help get into seat. I didn't want the long platform, but I kinda think I should have gone 12". |
