Motor and controller upgrade questions
Howdy, y'all!
I have finally decided to upgrade the motor and controller to the Navitas 440 Navitas DC to AC Conversion Kit. I have a couple of questions for the crew: 1. Does anyone recommend a seller? They all seem to run $1600 bucks, so who is the best to buy from? 2. I have the Big Battery Badger battery setup, and they come with 6G wire, should I still try to go with a 2G wiring from the battery to the controller? if so, can anyone recommend a good wiring kit? 3. Has anyone bought buy these HD 48-volt solenoids on amazon? They seem to be half the cost and when looking at the images provided by the golf cart stores vs amazon, they look identical. Thanks!!! |

I got my conversion kit from cloudelectric, nice guys. Changed to 2ga cables too. You can run the 440A with the stock solenoid, no HD necessary

Those Amazon solenoids are Chinese copies. I got one - not impressed but it's still working.
