A high speed motor might get you 13mph.
Either the Controller is bad, or throttle signal is not correct. Neither one will change with a different motor, as you’ve already shown.

Voltage on the motor is not a good measurement of what the controller is doing. The way a sepex motor works the field current is throttled separately from the armature current, And the combination of the two is what gets you a certain speed. The controller is responsible for applying the field current based on the throttle signal it gets. You have pack voltage available to the motor, but the pack voltage is not the sole factor in how fast a sepex motor spins.

Throttle testing is easy enough, and the correct voltages for that are on the forums here if you search around enough. Make sure the throttle is correct first, then if you want to spend money on an upgrade, get a controller like an Alltrax.

yep that got me 14 MPH. Alltrax software reading 100% throttle, battery voltage 49+ still a pig.

What's the RPM limit set to in the Alltrax?
Also try checking the "Speed limit" button off.
Also should check to make sure the correct field map for that motor is loaded in the controller. Using the wrong field map will burn a sepex motor up.
If the field map is correct, raise the RPM limit to 5500, and set your motor/armature amps to something around 250 to 300.

RPM limit is set to 6000, motor was turning 4400ish

speed limit is off

not sure what field map is loaded. I ordered the controller from EV drives and we discussed the motor but that dont mean he changed it.

I will check more tomorrow raining now and I dont want to melt

Ok arm amps is set at 400 that’s where it was when I got it. Turned down regen and plug brake to 0. Cleaned v-glide checked all connections and 14 mph. Tried to take a screen shot while driving. Dont know if it will tell ya anything.

That's the wrong field map if it has the original motor.
On the end of your motor do you have a round speed sensor cap, or is it a long D shaped silver tab that holds the sensor in?
