G29 battery disconnect for controller install...
Hi,
New this golf cart ownership thing so please be patient with my questions. I recently picked up a 2014 G29, as well after much research, I ordered an Alltrax 400amp controller and solenoid from scottyb. What is the best way to disconnect the battery(s) feeding the controller/solenoid before remove/installing the new controller? Is it necessary to remove all of the cables from all of the batteries? I hope not. Thanks |

Just remove one cable - I usually do the negative but it really doesn't matter which one.

Remove the cable from ANY battery. That breaks the power circuit.
