1986 Columbia Par Car Clutch alternative
Hey yall, looking for some help/advice about the primary clutch on 1986 parcar. Has anyone successfully found and tried an alternative comet clutch that will fit the par car? Trying to figure out if I need to rebuild or replace the clutch and finding oem parts is **** near impossible or expensive.
Long story short, a 1986 columbia par car gaser with some extra weight for traction has enough umph to tow a dead in water 2001 F350 dually for those who have ever wondered. However, clutch has started to slip more than usual, who would of thunk it. Any help is appreciated! Thank ya |

Re: 1986 Columbia Par Car Clutch alternative
I can be of no help with this one but I have long suspected that there simply has to be some non-stock options regarding those clutches. I have no idea how to go about finding out for sure, though.
Should you happen to come up with something, please let everyone here know about it. |
