You don't need to add anything but a kill switch. The S/G will operate as stock and the clone only needs a fuel supply and it is self sufficient else wise. Just DO NOT use the carts ignition switch unless you use Sho 305's wiring method as 12 volts will kill the coil.

Somewhere between 1.5 to 2 's of deflection I run mine pretty tight for max speed at a given RPM BUT when the belt is dead cold I need to shut engine down between F/R. In a VERY short time the F/R is fine. Also I am running a 1.25 " wide belt rather than the 1.1875 " recommended belt.

VC is talking about the throttle cable from the transaxle governor. They want the throttle cable from the pedal direct to the carb. It does tale some doing to get the ratio right between the two. In other words from idle to full throttle to use all the pedal throw. Where are you getting the pulse signal for the fuel pump ?

from the original spot on the air cleaner housing hose from valve cover to housing then bottom of housing to fuel pump

That is not going to work. You need either the spacer tapped between the carb and head or a tap in the valve cover itself. i am a fan of the carb spacer but others have a different opinion.

i tried the space but i have no room at all for a filter thats why i tried the orig filter housing. so if i put a fitting on the valve cover that should get the pulse to the pump
