clone exhaust
I added a Flowmaster Hushpower #7501 to my cart today. WOW what a relief it is to have a QUIET clone.Other than it sits pretty low to the ground it was mostly a bolt on in place of the RLV silencer.

Re: clone exhaust
On my unlifted G 14 with full body you really can't see anything on this swap. There is a good picture on the Ebay add selling the remaining 9 mufflers. All I did was cut about 6 inches off the vegascarts header and welded on the hushpower 7501 adapter. Then bolted the muffler on the adapter and clamped the muffler to the engine cradle.I put 6 inch long bolts with 3.5 inch pipe spacers to move back the sway bar to clear the new muffler. It added a lot of low end torque and drove fine with the stock vegascarts carb.I have 4.80 x 12 trailer tires in the back. The muffler would be really low with stock tires.I hope this all helps. The cart may be quieter than with the stock G14 engine and replacement exhaust.

Re: clone exhaust
I'm still not going all out but gets to my 4500 self imposed red line as quick as ever. With my newly installed sunpro I can now tell my TRUE rpms. The old hour meter/tach had severe lag.Still have it connected for hour meter but I never realized how bad the lag was until yesterday testing new exhaust.

Re: clone exhaust
Its for a magnum polaris 500 atv. Looks like a nice muffler, though they say its a silencer that goes on after the muffler. Its for quiet sound such as for hunting use.
Great info, lot of people are looking for a quiet muffler! |

Re: clone exhaust
I really did not expect the noise reduction I got being an atv silencer but my clone is quieter than anything I could find on any site posting this sort of thing.

Re: clone exhaust
I have a quietflow car muffler, it sounds more like a larger lawnmower though the tone is different more like an atv. Atv seem to be a little louder on average. It is very quiet at low throttle but gets louder when you step on it more.

Re: clone exhaust
That is what is so different from other systems I heard on line.My cart sounds much like an eight cylinder car than a hopped up lawn mower. It gets more mellow with more throttle and revs.
