Default 88 Marathon AC Conversion Build

I picked this cart up for $940 delivered to my drive way. Did not run but was a clean chassis.

Starting this thread to keep myself motivated. The theme I have in mind for this cart Is "Rust Bucket" due to its age and dated look.

Parts that have been ordered or that have arrived:
- BB Eagl Lithium 60AH (can always add 3rd battery down road for 90)
- 400 amp solenoid
- TXT conversion harness
- 0 - 5k ohm potentiometer
- FNR switch
- Run Tow Switch
- 14" rims @ 20" height with no clearance issues
- 600amp Navitas AC conversion (backordered a month)

Future Plans:
- Modified battery tray for cooler. Will fill gaps with diamond plate
- Separate 12v system for accessories instead of running a V reducer
- Modern Masters rust and copper patina paint anywhere there is yellow. Black will
remain
- Custom headlight knockouts
- Black extended roof (unsure of what fits and havent researched)

Pics bellow of what I've done so far..... First pic is what it looked like when I went to look at it.

Thanks for viewing!

Thank you Lenny!

Waiting on the AC/Controller kit to come in. Prob another 20 days out.

Carbon headlight knockouts, and a rust/copper patina are pretty much the only thing I can work on for now.

Small success today. The BB’s fit perfect. Otherwise would have went with ECOs.

Going to hold off on the install until the AC kit arrives.

Motor is in. Cut the left strut mount off and used HD zip ties to lower it in. Worked perfectly. Also mounted a thicker aluminum plate to mount the controller, parallel bus, and solenoid to.

And todays progress. Mocked up wiring and mounts. Hopefully these through grommets will hold up for a little while.

Yesterdays progress: new battery config, power ran, wire harness ran, and modified 10mm x M5 Amazon ball end to fit the marathon throttle rod.

Thanks. Got it running today. Everything is loose fit until Im positive I know I can cut things off the IQ harness that aren't necessary.

Nerding out on Navitas settings videos.
