Right now the hot set up (literally) is the gm hybrid alternator ,you need water cooling and a custom programmer ,and real lithium but people are getting 70+ horsepower out of those and they are compatible in size to the smaller golf cart motors .you have the water for cooling and they are cheap so that could be a player for your application
