Default G8 Running bad, need help ASAP

I am having problems getting my Project F-Bomb to run right. It will idle fine, but sputters when throttled up. With the choke on, it runs great though. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Trying to get this thing going for a hunting trip today.

Sambo, I noticed you may have removed your check valve on the side of the valve cover.
If so, the fuel pump will not receive the pulseing effect needed to pump fuel to carb.

Then, also turn the ilde jet slowly in or out till it runs it's best at low speed.
Also, check plug for jetting, since the new air cleaner, it maybe to lean (main jet)
hope this helps

mike is right abought the hose from the side of the valve cover to the pulse hose going to the fuel pump. you need to block that hose off for your fuel pump to work, or better yet get the check valve that should be there. my g9 was missing it and it just blocked the hose off and ran clear hose on the other side of the valve cover to make sure the valves are still getting oil, and they were.
sorry for the essay, i'm turning into dave! (hopefully he'll poke in here and help out)
