Default Starting at step 1

I have a TXTE with a date code of K0903 which I think it is a 2003 which I started to work on today for a friend. He put on a new controller, switch and solenoid.

I have read the stickies and looked at the troubleshooting chart. Not knowing what controller I have has hampered me from selecting the right one. I am pretty sure I have series but unsure about the controller. Not sure if I have a PDS or DCS, if those are the types.

If I can figure what I have I can make progress. The cart is dead and the solenoid does not click when the pedal is pressed. I have read about a tow switch which would explain the problem but I do not see one.

Thanks

I jumped the solenoid and I have forward and reverse. I checked continuity of the 4 wires going to the switch and other thing on the floor under the cover, all good.

big nd fan.....seeing as how you mentioned "the switch", can we assume you are talking the F&R switch? if so....you have a SERIES drive system cart, NOT a PDS or DCS....its SERIES. IF SO....you will have an F&R switch like this in front of the controller.....TRUE??
