Melex 252 power loss
Hello everyone, I have a 1986 melex 252 36 volt that I am having some problems with. After somewhat of a long drive the cart will suddenly lose power. I can let of the throttle and get back on and it will go sometimes sputter and sometimes not go at all. I have brand new batteries and cables new micro switches on the F and R switch, and a new solenoid. I have changed the rear differentail oil checked the brakes for drag etc... the controller is stock along with the switch for the throttle?(im not sure if I am wording that one right) I recently got a new motor from EMP and have been nothing but happy with the results but i do not want to fry this new motor. this problem did happen with the old motor as well as the new one. Any suggestions on where to start or what i should look for would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Melex 252 power loss
I think Melex was the first to install controllers. Do you have resistors or is it a controller cart?
