Default Sand bottle

Excuse me for asking a question about golf cart stuff that is for golf.

I saw a cc precedent on tv with a sand bottle mounted half up the rear roof support. Are there nut plates up there for mounting things mine has a spot there but I'm not sure if a nut plate is behind the spot.

I have two sand bottle holders on my cart up north. I took one out and put in a cooler mount and cooler. The other one I threw the bottle away of sand and put in a bottle of Mccallan 12 scotch. No nut blocks.

There are no nuts in the struts. If you look closely there are two little dimples in the rear strut that indicate where the sand bottle should mount. The sand bottle kit comes with two nuts and two bolts to hold it onto the strut. I'll see if I can dig up the part number for that kit.

I was seeing those dimples, thought maybe there were nut plates there. Do the bolts just go through the strut.
