Default New to forum and Brute car golf cart.

Here are a few pics of my golf cart i picked up the other day. Its really more of a go kart than a golf cart in my opinion, but i thought it could make a cool project. My plan is to put a chinese clone 125cc engine automatic with reverse and electric start. I dont expect or want to get alot of speed out of it but want to make sure it has enough power for 2 adults. What do you think?

Welcome to BGW

Cool project but I dont think you'll be happy with a 125. Most of the stock cart engine are like 250 cc and they have a hard enough time. They do make 250's with auto and reverse but they are harder to find. I'd hit up one of those guys on ebay that sell the lifans or sunl's and see if they can get one.

Welcome to the forum. Nice project. What year is your cart? Never seen one of those. Looks similar to an old 3 wheeler I had when I was a kid called a Scat Trac.

Not sure on the year, cant find a serial number and dont have a title. Im guessing its a mid 70's.

That trike is sweet. Do you remember what hp engine you had on it?

So, neighbor just pulled a Brute Car 3 wheeler out of his garage. I'm thinking fun project to drop a motor in.
What did you end up doing?
